Monday I was in London for a day on creativity and technology with Ewan McIntosh, (www.notosh.com). It was a great day - I decided to keep these weekly notes and find ways of building my and Robinson Howell Partnership's web presence. Amazingly the trains were on time there and back and the venue was two minutes walk from Euston Station. The day was organised by Creative Partnerships.
On Tuesday I caught up with things in the office then went to St Mary's Catholic College in Blackpool for a meeting about their next steps as a Creative Partnerships Change School. We're looking at a audit of creativity which Cath Ford will do for us and a day to plan next year's programme along with Alison White.
Tuesday evening had all the drama of Gordon Brown resigning and a new coalition government. What will that mean for the arts?
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning saw me working on the next issue of mailout apart from another trip to St Mary's for a CP group meeting. Things seem to be going very well with the english project we have running there.
The next issue of mailout is now with the designers, DG3. It shoudl be a really good issue. Lyndsey has marshalled everything really well. We've also sent a paper tot he board who are meeting this afternoon to suggest a way forward with the project in the future. We'll have to see what they think
